Certainly has been. I spent days catching up after being gone for a couple years (since before @robbie, so the tone has changed..) and everything goes quiet.. And I didn't even comment so it can't be something I said. Hope all is well
It’s what we are here for….. (but don’t let it become the norm )not a 'rip roaring' episode for which I apologise but oddly 'spilling it all out' helps
Cheer up spin. Just think no matter how bad it is you could be having a RT pigs audit today followed by a Freedom foods audit Monday!!!!! Two doses of utter b#llocks in one month!!!!! Two people who can't do the job but feel entitled to come round and pick holes in how we who can do the job do it.yes it can get a bit 'boy humour' dominated at times for which I apologise...but it's nice to have you back as we're a 'bit thin" on lady readers...chopsey is in out and primmy is still AWOL
morale taken a turn for worse...again...wet/cold on farm...admiral playing me up...ringing in evening saying she can't sleep which is not surprising given she sounds most of the day in bed....I've noticed depressed ppl often retreat to bed...sleep giving them relief but not helping mitigating....I myself have been going to bed 8pm...its a slippery slope
on the farm we trudge on....another paddock for fat lambs fenced...another fattening pen made...we're behind on fat lamb selling this year...I suppose lambing month later and drought holding things up..next week is going thru them
Yr end books are in
little progress on house...poor HH has a bug that's laid her low...did coupla hours Monday and had a tidy up cos got a skip in
two 'sagas'
1/ electricity renewal...our supplier 'corona energy' have aa dirty trick...they send you a renewal with a price but turns out if you sign/return they can change it to day they receive it (small print)...so the letter they sent me was dated 22nd Nov...prices have ticked higher as gas price rose again beginning of Dec...they became so difficult to pin down I switched with a broker...4p/ unit more than renewal letter
saga 2/....remember pony had " choke" other week....well vet has been out 3 times and turns out it's sinusitis....I don't rate him at all....New fangled this technique etc when a good dose of AB would sorted it at outset..I mean pony had snotty nose ffs....fortunately we're insured bit that's not the point..made me cross....row and I'm the villian
boy...who's a teacher had a 'staph a' scare...off work 3 days but clear

I bet there's not many bookies in Naam betting 'over broke' on the football - they'll all be 'over round'.resta the afternoon I pondered a/how to spend my brilliantly deduced winnings and b/ perhaps a switch of career to 'professional gambler'
just as lukey is the Richard osman you are the (late) John mcCirick of the thread....20/25 is 4/5 on surelyI bet there's not many bookies in Naam betting 'over broke' on the football - they'll all be 'over round'.
Listened to one on Talk Sport this morning - they don't even work in proper odds that any self respecting race goer would even recognise - WTF is 20/25
It's easy to make a small fortune punting - problem is, you need to start with a big one.
To make money betting, you need to be called a bookmaker
Come on ENGERLAND
*france 4/1....£20 bet..win £100
Argentina 6/1...£15 bet...win £110
Netherlands 17/1..£5 bet...win £105
then to cover the "racing certainty ' of Brazil winning...13/8...£20...win £52.50
I'm not a professional gambler so does that mean you've lost 25 quid already?

You have got a nice little arbitrage on Argentina going on there.
*I did this using your 6/1 money but just realised you got closer to 15/2 monies based on your return.
Go onto any exchange and lay Argentina for £35.80.
If Argentina win > £110 returns from the bookies > Subtract your £69.45 from the exchange = £40.55 profit.
If any other country win > £35.80 profit.
So you can lock in a profit of either £40.55 or £35.80 right now no matter what the outcome is

You could also just lay them off for your original £15 stake and get £80.90 if they win, but you're only getting your original £15 stake back if any other country wins.
Or you could just let it ride and hope Argentina do the business and get the £110.
ERR....yes?...I mean exactly my thinking
Surely by being a farmer we are the very definition of gamblers!!!!I'm not a professional gambler so does that mean you've lost 25 quid already?
