John Price near Craven Arms, an outsatnding engineer built at least 2 bedford/IH tractor units back in the 70's. He used to lug chicken muck with them on the roads until plod caught up with him and foeced him to take them off the road. Bedford engine and box driving through the tractor gearbox and back end - tractor rear wheels as above.

I know of a Fergy with a 4cyl Toyota turbo engine conversion. Apparently you use the higher gears at your own risk.

I've seen one of Colin's converted TE20's..very fast IIRC. Also seen a model N Fordson he grafted a Shogun diesel into. Both very neat smart conversions
