by the action of countries, putting themselves first, as in closing internal borders in Europe, to slow the spread of c19, for which I don't blame them, the eastern states have now had a Europee caught ruling, saying they were wrong to seal their borders, against the refugees from Africa, Syria etc. They should have helped Greece and Italy with their refugee crisis, and to be honest, I don't blame them for not, their electorates are very keen in agreeing with that. Their is also a big difference between genuine refugees, which should be helped, and economic migrants, which we don't want. The UK voted to leave, for two main reasons, we didn't like the commission telling us what to do, and we didn't want the huge influx of the refugee problem. You now have eastern border states, ignoring the 'orders' of the commission, and the collapse of 'shengkin' open borders. You have states wanting to go one way, the commission saying no, unity ? is definitely not happening now, the commissions solution ? More integration, and closer bonding to the 'commission', will brussels listen, will they change anything ? I sincerely hope they do, but I very much doubt it. The next big stumbling block for the EU, is, how the hell are they going to get the money, to sort the aftermath of c19 out ? If this puts the more affluent countries into recession, how are the basket case economics, of the poorer countries ever going to cope ? The aftermath of c 19, is going to be very messy, and I am not at all sure, that the EU in it's present form, will cope, and, if it doesn't, Europe is in some very deep water.
