can someone recommend what sort of filter setup i should be looking to put inline with a rotatory hand pump like this please :

the phrase ive been looking for was 'gravity fed' - implying low vol / pressure. would i be right in thinking to plumb it in to the suction side ?

Yes I would think so.

I had one of these filters rigged up for gravity flow before getting an electric pump.
