Got some stuff from local tractor place ,a tub of goopy stuff gob a handful on and it slowed it right down till i could fix it.i will look in shed tommorowI have a metal fuel tank that has a small crack in the weld about half inch which is letting diesel drip out ,I know i can weld it by draining fuel but is there any silicone or anything that will stick to it, as a temporary measure until tank is empty

When working on oil spillages we used stuff called DAM IT. Worked a treat.
