Mate of mine is bringing his 13t 360 excavator to East Sussex it needs its chains replaced and sprockets and pads swapped over. Any recommendations of who does such work. In that general area. Digger could be delivered to a workshop then moved to site after if need be.

When I had my 13 tonner undercarriage replaced back in the spring, just before lockdown kicked in, the company I bought all the parts through (Leach Lewis) used a self employed mobile contractor based in Gerrards Cross but who covered the entire of the South East.

He was a proper worker, did the entire job in one day, which included replacement of all sprockets and idler wheels, several rollers, fitting a new planetary gearbox to one side, and refitting the new tracks. He travelled to North Wilts, so would assume he'd cover Sussex too. I'd definitely use him again if I needed work on mine.
