It appears they are shutting down next month due to retirement. Will leave a massive hole in electronic farm repairs.

I would have thought a business like that could have been sold as a going concern. But I think lack of staff was his biggest problem.
Last job I sent him took 5 months to come back and that was what he blamed it on when I chased it up.

David was always very helpful whenever I called him. A wealth of knowledge.
I hope that they have a happy retirement and hopefully somebody will setup and fill the hole left by the closure of the business.

Recently had them fix McCormick dashboard, he said it would be about 4 weeks before I got it returned, wishing them well in retirement but will be a big loss to agricultural machinery

I know a couple of people that have had problems with McConnel electrics. They sent them away to the local McConnel dealer, came back exactly the same and were charged a fortune! They sent the electrical pieces off to David King and they were charged a very small amount and when they came back, they worked even better than they did than when they were new!

Going to be a huge loss to the agricultural machinery sector. But he deserves a very happy retirement for everything he has done for people.

Yes. Very shame. Hope he will have happy retirement. I have been working for him for some time.
I am on my own but I definitely will cary on repairs for some time.
