Do any hen breeds lay eggs as small as Creme Eggs?

I'm not a hen expert but... the middle egg is from a french maran and they've always laid small eggs. The bottom one is from a sussex. We had some black rocks that were in between. We've not kept any other breeds. We once had an egg as small as a creme egg and that was from a maran. Do other breeds lay eggs so small or are Cadbury having a laugh?

I think you'll find quail eggs or pigeon eggs are smaller than Cadburys

I also think it's implied that creme eggs are chocolate chicken eggs as that's what most people eat, not pigeon or quail. I still like them though, despite the size.

The children used to feed the chickens bits of foil for a few days before Easter, in the hope they would find chocolate eggs in the nest box on Easter day. They did too, and they remember the joy of finding them. My son recently told me he used to wonder how the chickens knew it was Easter...

When I was a kid the chocolate on the pointy end was so thick you had to use your teeth to grate it off and you could break your jaw biting it, also it took ages getting the inside out because it was so thick not runny like now,
Cadburys = garbage.

Jst as an aside, does anyone paint hard boiled eggs & then roll them down a hill at Easter.
Used to love this when I was a youngster, especially scoffing them at the bottom.
No creme eggs in those days.

The worst bit is that Cadburys no longer use Cadburys Dairy Milk Chocolate in their Crème Eggs. Since they were taken over by the yanks they now use standard chocolate. I have not bought one since.

Can we please return to proper sized eggs made with proper Dairy Milk Chocolate please?
