Do I have resistance or dying worms?

Hi All, wormed some lambs 9 days ago. Just in the field now and found a few lambs with worms in their stool like the photos. Used Rycoben. Resistance or dying worms? Thanks

These are tapeworm segments---(don't be too worried about tapeworms , they usually do very little harm ) the real pathogenic worms wont be visible to the native eye
If you want to check to see if you have resistance to anthelmintics you need to do a FEC before and after treatment to compare results

Tapeworm, seen some a few feet long hanging out of lambs before but the lambs were healthy as anything

No worries about tapeworms, usually go from our lambs after 3-4 months

I was told l by a vet that tapeworms basically feed on the digested feed/ muck in the sheeps bodies. So don't affect the health of the animal at all. Problems only happen if there are a massive number of them and they cause a blockage.

Pasturella was main cause of death i think but very nice tapeworms too
