Dear Farming Forum!

I hope this thread finds you well. I'm Geena - an MA Television Journalism student at City, University of London. I'm working on a student documentary which will examine whether England should adopt Scottish-style full right-to-roam laws. Scotland, unlike England, gives the right to be on any land for recreational purposes.

I'm interested in the arguments of farmers who are fearful that giving the public the right to roam all land can lead to an increase in rural crime and farm theft. If any English farmers who have suffered from incidents of crime and would be against a right to roam law would be interested in speaking, feel free to directly message my account or comment on this thread with any questions. Otherwise, reach me at [email protected]

Thanks so much and hope to hear from you guys!
