Doda hd35 oil cooler

Oil cooler has got a pinhole and liquid from digestate is foaming oil in gearbox.
has anyone simply disconnect the oil cooler and simply ran the gearbox without the oil cooler? (But still leaving the oil pumping setup in place)
we pump 40deg digestate 99.9% of the time so questionable if the oil going through cooler cone is making any difference..... probably an unconnected oil cooler tank would make more sense or no cooler

Lots have it disconnected, same pump as a L35 & they have no oil cooler

Yea we just looped a coil of pipe around the discharge pipe off the pump and connected the oil cooler pipes to that that kept it just as cool on ordinary slurry pumping anyway
