Bought some rubber matting of this bloke almost 2 years ago. He said he would deliver it. Stopped answering his phone. It's not a massive amount of money but he is doing my nut in

It almost 2 hours. I've asked for my money back. Promises the earth and then 3 months pass and nothing. If I do go down there there no guarantee he will be there. It's 210 quid. I don't really know what to do.

I know it's been to long but he say I'm up your way next week. Then the Lorry breaks down .Then he'll send the money back. Same old crap and before you know it a month has gone. I think if I paid for it to be delivered it should be. I'll cost at least a 100 quid in my time and fuel

I hope you get settlement eventually, probably counting on you not wanting to drive there especially if he might not still have the things you bought.

I suppose you could download court papers for small claims court and see if that puts the wind up him, but it's a bit complicated and I've never done it before.

Can be done online, no papers needed, £60 fee, don't even have to get out of your chair.......

Lesson learned: credit card every time and if they fail to honour/deliver item, then straight claim back to the card company and let them chase.

You will throw more good time and money trying to recover your 200 squid. Try by all means, but I'd chalk it up to experience.

Contact ebay and start an investigation tell them he is scamming and you want your money back they will step in and sort it for you
