Especially the Newport depot
And the reason I am asking is from 1976-80 I worked at the Newtown branch which was head office and this morning I was talking to the director who is 95 but still remembers the deals done by the Newport manager where he was giving silly prices for secondhand against new IH tractors and the yard was full of expensive unable to sell machines,in one case he bought in a grain tower against a new tractor and it ended up going for scrap after the firm having to dismantle it
