You are not the only person that knows him and he would have a laugh at that ,a very sound guy with a sense of humorI know him quite well. brook cottage near church or the 1 along the field behind the hall football pitch
ey it was the football pitch when it was a school, you should see the place now , all done up as a wedding/confrence venue, the old stable block on way down is busy getting converted into houses as is the farm stack yard 22 in all i think, also been 6 or 7 built on west side of drive down near the hallGarden Cottage behind the hall. There was no football pitch when I lived there, the hall was derelict!
did you have horses along there? if so it was me and my dad that put the fences upGarden Cottage behind the hall. There was no football pitch when I lived there, the hall was derelict!
As a contractor we all need a angel and he is a lot of angels to many contractors. One i know of in my proffesionJD loves has farming as Donald trump loves has golf.
But his building golf courses to to get planning for hotels, club houses, condominiums, shops, houses. Etc. The golf is a lovely side line.
If you buy enough farm land you will always have some going to houses, roads, fuel stations, barn conversion, business letting. That's where the real money is.
Fair enough, but if IHT relief was scrapped, you might get to farm in your own right? As a contractor we all need a angel and he is a lot of angels to many contractors. One i know of in my proffesion
I totally agree but it seem to be how it is nowadays as everybody wants more and want to take somebody else's livelyhoodFair enough, but if IHT relief was scrapped, you might get to farm in your own right?
How many workers got the heave when he took over?
