Dog insurance

Am looking for companies who do insurance for a working collie?

I do my own insurance for the working dogs, £25 per dog (4 working dogs) per month into an account. Its never not going to pay out and if you have a couple of years without any vet bills soon get a far wedge of cash.

Our farm policy covers me for up too 4 working sheepdogs. Costs £100/year. It’s peanuts compared to a lot of things.

I doubt that would cover vets fees for the dogs.

I will have too have a look at the policy. Pretty sure potential vets bills were the reason I insured them. Once working dogs hit a grand you have too think about things a bit!!

We stopped insuring all our pets and working dogs years ago. It costs a fortune so we just pay out as and when it's required. For the cats that's near enough never but for the Collie it's a yearly or twice yearly occurance

You are misinterpreting this question. I asked this 100s of times and don't give a rats behind whether you make my boss a fortune or not. All it does is let me know how much of a consideration cost is. Some treatment options are cheap, others are many times more expensive but only slightly more likely to work. Some people would be very angry if you didn't do everything and spend £1000s others expect you to be able to do abdominal surgery for £50.
