Dog Sitting near Criccieth

My daughter is getting married near Criccieth at the end of September. Originally our dog was coming with us and staying at the hotel from the Wednesday to the Friday. They have now decided they dont want to have dogs at the wedding but I dont really want to leave him behind as he is getting old and deserves a trip out to Wales. He is quite happy sleeping in his cage so just wondering if anyone has a barn he could sleep in overnight for a couple of days.

Advice needed. My elderly mother 94 has been held against her wishes in a prison camp (care home) and due to Covid was not going to be able to attend the wedding. Not helped by being deemed not have mental capacity with an ongoing Court of Protection case. Apparantly the government have revised the rules as of the 16th August which would now legally allow her to attend if we could spring her from the care home. Anyone been in a similar position of temporary care in another care home (I presume they would not allow a stay in a hotel) It is also made more difficult as her care home is in England and the Wedding is in Wales so probably a Welsh care home. Then there is all the transport as she is wheelchair bound so would need a wheelchair type van with ramp. My daughter would really love for her to attend the wedding but I admit to being clueless when it comes to this local authority red tape.

Just to update. My mother will not be attending the wedding. It has been scuppered by the local authority. I thought I had it all arranged with a care home in Wales to look after her and transport sorted with the hire of a WAV but was totally taken aback by the dirty tricks the local authority stooped to in stopping her leaving the care home.

Well the wedding was absolutely wonderful and the venue brilliant. Big thanks to the RAF and the low level fly past of two transporter planes right in the middle of my wife doing the reading. ( I now know what it takes to keep her quiet) and an even bigger thank you to the TFF member allowing the use of his kennel for the duration.
