Plenty power on tap for corn, i think the 228 had a v10 merc
Did they not paint claas blue in the states?
I think that was earlier, claas first attempt to crack america with the Ford partnership. The commander with tracks would have been the start of their second attempt on partnership with CAT. Their third attempt just now with their own factory in Nebraska seems to be going well.

The commander was sold in america with full length rubber tracks. Very interesting looking machine.
Was also available in Europe. Was shown on the CLAAS stand at the 1989 Royal Show
