Don’t be a slave

Grown business men famers following social media influencers. If the government/ big business paid this man enough he would promote every cow being sprinkled with gold glitter at 8 35am each morning.

The reality is, rules and regulations are thought up to keep the public sector in employment. We either follow them or end up in court. Where we would ALL accept plea bargains and plead guilty, no farmer has the financial means to challenge the government. Unfortunately Mr Price is a good example of this.

These men spout utter 5hite and dont live in the real world. No amount of Yoga or positive thought is going to reduce our stress and regulatory burden, we are slaves to the system, again take Mr Price as an example.

What this man should be promoting is unity and group organisation, in order to challenge what is perceived to be unfair regulatory burden, however, I suspect that would go against his paymasters policies.

I left corporate industry at the age of 35, 20 years ago to escape the corporate model outlined in the OP. A lot of it rang true.
After 20 years in farming the corporate model has caught up with me both in the way I now have to sell commodities and possibly have to work some fairly crackpot enviro schemes to earn a living.
The only alternative to the corporate model now is direct sales that realistically won’t pay the bills. So we are at a bit of a crossroads.

Sounds like old Jordan giving a collage lecture, worth listening to but more relevant to employees putting up with bosses really. Business owners shouldn't need him to point out it's not compulsory to be in a certain business.
Jordan seems to have got a bit more hardcore since he got sick, harder to listen too now I think. Still makes some good points though.

Peterson has recently been required to take a course in media awareness, or lose his certification/registration. He does have superficial appeal for some of his ideas, but he is considered unstable, and close to being unfit to work. It takes a lot of previous for a professional body to require evidence of professional development, so bear that in mind when watching the video ~ even though it's from last year.

Here we go again. Another character assassination attempt on a person that couldn’t be more consistent, honest and straightforward. He is dead against what you espouse, which is cancel culture and is illustrated by nearly every post you make these days.
His University is infested, as are so many, with extreme left wing and woke activists who are diametrically opposed to free speech and common sense. He is the voice of total reason in a University and a world that is in danger of cancelling history, gender, free speech and enquiring minds. Almost as if they were working towards making a world of unquestioning robots aligned with other totalitarian states that tolerate no contrary views let alone dissent and democracy.

Yes, mainly because they are scared of him and the truth and common sense that he speaks.

The video may have been posted a year ago, but I think it's taken from university lectures that are much older. There's a group of people on YouTube who like to cut up his talks and videos and repost them as content on their own channels (probably because they have no talent of their own)

Lectures made to kids going into the workforce who probably needed them, not old businessmen.
I don't think Jordan was that controversial back then, I have his book, 12 rules for life (never finished it :sorry:) he has certainly helped a lot of people and talked some sense.
Since his illness and wider fame, he's more out there, perhaps appealing to a different audience and as I said upthread is harder to listen to now.
Shame really, I think we needed his voice, I think the pressure from those pushing back on what he said (without actually listening to him) broke him.
