Donkeys

Donkeys form deep attachments with humans and other animals.
They should be kept in bonded pairs
Any introductions to new animals must be carefully managed... not just put in together.
Example a fence between them at the start.
They are emotional creatures and are fearful of anything new.
So being transported 160 miles then put in with strange donkey can only have the result it did.
They need protection from the wet with a shelter. A deep bed of straw ss they need to lie down
Sprinkled with hay ... you need to watch their weight
They need an area of hard standing and pick out there feet everyday of the feet will rot ...
They are gentle loving creatures and only behave badly if they are not respected .
They are often used for contact with cancer patients and also to work with disadvantaged children
I hope this helps

I sometimes wonder that if the donkeys on Blackpool beach could be corralled into a small enclosure overnight, as per the chap who advocates mob-stocking in arid areas in Africa, if the beach could gradually be turned into good quality pasture.

And not many people know that, since the demise of the Chinese Mangalesa pig, most of the Salami is made from dead donkeys.

Donkey is a species not on the approved Polish horsemeat food supply chain list. The current assurance scheme: Dede Rektor, currently forbids the addition of anything but full life assured horse into the scheme or delivered to processing premises in the back of a van.

As someone who has eaten quite their share of ass over the years I can tell you I don't rate it. Braised, roasted or boiled donkey meat is tough. About the most tender part of any of the beast is usually the bullet used to shoot it. Except the ears mind which do make for a hell of pair of slippers.

My buddy KiwiPete is the chap for donkey recipes. Being a native New Zealander and quite the outdoors type he puts kill it, cook it, eat it to shame. His burrobirgher is world renowned. First, the cuts are soaked in beer for 24 hours. Then they are tenderised by placing them in a cement mixer containing 2 cannon balls and leaving it going for 3 days. At the end of the process you strain the beer from the meat and drink it, by which point you aren't too fudged what the burgers are like.

For anyone interested in supplying meat animals dangerous at both ends and quite crafty in the middle details of whole life nag assurance can be found at: www.dede-rektor.pl
