The same lot i recon that did the other ones about here then go and see the farmer and charge people to visit it.
It is such a coincidence that they appear one day and the crop circle fanatics turn up to manage the public and split the proceeds with the farmer the next .
Yea right we all came down in the last shower. I THINK NOT.
Our rape vols look thick in one of them photos:oops::cry:.
Mind i didn't know of that one, couldn't of been any closer and more obvious. Must get my eyes checked.

I hadn't read the link. I will do when I fancy a laugh later!

If they missed a bit it may have something to do with it being late on a Friday night. Perhaps the alien had too much scrumpy cider off the crusties on their way to the show site...

It is now one big mud bath stuff getting towed in . A few hours of wind and it will dry up. But at the moment it is peeing it down still.

Dunno bout the Dorset steam fair, but the midland game fair was a true haven of pikeys in 2012, with nearly 200k worth of goods, shotguns and firearms stolen over two nights, with one gun dealer losing his licence, country covers who had a stall there told me they have to sleep in their stall as the pikeys sneak in at night and take what they can carry, as I was talking to them a coat went that instant, right in the middle of the day, unreal and totally put me off going there ever again, been going on and off over 10 years or more and never seen it like that, very scary the amount of pikeys frequented the place.

Do you mean 2012 or last year? I've been going there for about 15 years now & talking to traders down the years (I've bought a few guns there!) they always seemed to have the real trouble with scousers.
I've noticed more & more p1kies the last 5 years or so, but last year they were EVERYWHERE.
Like you, I'm giving it a miss this year - shame as it's the best Game Fair of them all.

2012, we didn't bother last year, simply because of the sheer number of pikeys making a rather unpleasant atmosphere. I recall 2006 a lot of undercover police being there to tackle shoplifters, but last time we went there were about six bobbies and no undercover. We won't bother again until we hear that things have been tightened down.

Cop cars everywhere on the road, hauling straw nr to it today, each trip would pass at least 2 cars driving about looking for someone to pull over. they have tripled their officers for this week or something, to be about in this area just for it.
Hope their not just picking on easy crime and being to chicken to catch the undesirables!

Though speed trappers did catch 190 odd yesterday alone near by it, and seized several cars for no insurance, tax etc. using it as away to grab as many as they can.

Big mud hole their now, few that are staying on our campsite said they had never seen so much mud and only just got out of the field, and that's the first day.
Passed a few cars that we're more muddy than a 4x4 after a months off roading too.

@Red Fred you might be held up for a bit, they were queuing down from the rounder bout, Blandford end right up to it, alomost 4 mile que. Couldn't say Salisbury end, though back roads are as busy, seems locals are diverting this way to avoid jams

2nd-6th september this year anyone know if that week is dry or wet? Missed going last year been about dozen times over last 30 years.
Great event best/biggest show of farming and haulage history in Europe. Only ever go on a day ticket but stay late for night life a few times; fair and showmans engines at night is an experience of bygone era not to be missed.
