Who keeps them?

I'm after some ewe lambs or draft ewes.

Help!
when are you going to lamb them ? (wilton sept should be a few ) but may sales would have been better for polls , autumn sold ones are the sorted ones that dont get in lamb in may ie the ones that dont lamb anytime of year ,
ps dorset horn wont lamb out of season
dorset breeders are a good bunch , look up David Rossiter , or Jim dufosee or Nicky Jesse

As @toasty said , if you want pedigree http://www.mccartneys.co.uk/Livestock_Auctions/Pedigree_Sales/Forthcoming_Sales/page-2

Richard and Rob Hole also have a sale before long again pedigree

As @andybk says Jim Dufossee and David Rossiter would point you in the right direction, also Adrian Dufossee has good commercial ewes.

There are some for sale on the Society web site too..

Those Cornella ewes at Corntown Glamorgan should be good ewes he bought most of David Matthews old flock.

Going to lamb them in September.

Just using them as a base to breed up from.

Do ppl sell in lamb ewes?
dorset breeders make you want to bang your head , they keep promoting rams instead of the ewes , crossed with a charollais they take some beating , there is always a shortage of good pure ewes ,i have said time and again push the ewes and sell rams for breeding instead as a terminal sire , being able to breed out of season without cost of sponges and all the piddling about is a real bonus ,
if you have winter grass , idea arable sideline with ground and labour to spare in winter , just watch the feet some good some awful

Don't the lambs make a good fiver a head less than similar weights from 'normal' sheep? That would pay for sponging and some....

@CopperBeech , as you already have them running about, would a Charmoise X female not lamb as easily out of season? Any Charmoise x NZ Suffolks running about?

not when crossed with a charollais , many of the live easter champions down here are dorset x charollais ,you can pick the crossbreds out in the dark compared to pures . need a blocky char though , not those big cart horses ;)

Funnily enough......

Got a bunch of cham x NZ Suffolk mule, cham x exlana and some other combos which should lamb out of season.

Even got a cham x dorset

Like I said, the dorset will just be the starting point.....

What are the chances of Exlanas breeding out of season? If you look at some of the breeds that went into them?
Also the last 2 years I have had a couple of 'immaculate conception' lambs appear in august so I bet some would lamb in September. Save all that messing around with loads of wool
