They can burn anything .
Just depends if you want RHI ?
Don't know if after RHI or not ?He asked about emisssions tests - why he want to know if they had or not if not chasing RHI!?
Most boilers can burn most things (the plumbers called mine a pikie recycling centre!) it just depends if you want the RHI and if so how risky you want to be about getting caught burning the wrong stuff.
I suspect the risks are low if you self supply but much higher if you buy all your fuel in. Don't be fooled into thinking the audit guys aren't clever - I think many of these consultants who have run out of work have now jumped to the dark side and get paid on commison...
I would trust them more if they paid their debts to their suppliers rather than going bankrupt and phoenixing.Spoken to dragon today d20 boiler has passed emissions test on wheat straw oilseed rape linseed and bean straw........official
On new or since these rules came in I guess .Be careful with any emission test results as quite often the moisture content tested is very dry to achieve the necessary RHI approval. If you use fuel with a higher moisture content then you invalidate the RHI.
