We are going to put a some 4in perforated pipes leading to a ditch from a wet spot.
What is the correct depth for the pipe + stone on top bearing in mind it may well be moled in the future?
The ground lies down hill to the ditch, we were going to put the pipes at an angle so not directly down the hill, any suggestions on how far apart the pipes should be?
Cheers

How are you putting them in, a 12 digger bucket will require a massive amount of stone compared to a trencher.

The latest trenchers can calculate on-board a fall to use the minimum stone for a given minimum depth in the lowest point. (it has to track across the field first time to set up after that it does the next run calculation automatically.)
