This is ours with the lid closed...took some experimenting with various camera angles to get the best view along the bottom of the hopper though

Good job with the fix bob

Not even amazone can tell me why i keep up ending up with 2 outside better rows than the rest. First 2 pics ploughed 3 weeks before drilling so the patchy emergence is understandable but even in wide bouts , it grows in looking like overlap

We think its clods getting worked better due to clod board and power harrow side plates , giving better seed to soil contact and growing better. After my last machine having a double disc with press wheel , i think the amazone needs the press wheels but they dont agree as its not something they promote on their units.

it is because the drill doesn't sow as wide as the power harrow cultivates. try measuring both. in our case the drill was sowing about 4" less than the harrow width so with the markers set correctly for the drill the harrow was double cultivating a couple of inches at each side resulting in better growth on one row of seed, that was with the coulters set as far out on the bar as possible.

Got a led strip off the bay for about £3, glued it along back of the hopper and wired in to camera power, nice clear (sometimes) colour pics inside hopper now.

In the middle.
I have a camera in the drill tank. Brilliant until I broke a wire halfway through this season. First field with broken wire has 3 seed plots in it. Just been back and re drilled a 50m strip at the end of the first seed plot as I ran out short but thought I'd made it. Thank goodness it's about out of sight from everybody.

ive had a list of things this year
Main air Pipe blowing off x4
Accord had Fan seal. X2 my fault altered free flow return not plumed in properly
Squashed pipe when unfolding x3 different days and different pipes
Back pressure when trying to use front fert tank
GPs messing about nearly every time.
Losing bean coulters. Quick release button fault
Depth Wheel slow puncher didn't notice worsted one
Had to have a complete new depth wheel gash in wheel
Couple of inns and out misses.
One 1/2 run completely missing still don't know what happened there.
Beans blocking pipes multiple times sorted that now.
Mix up with tgw now have a couple of fields with 670 seeds sq/m not happy about that one.
Oil seed rape wasn't so bad.
Just 3 shorts missed the drive shaft had started slipping.
And one field run out of seed last time round headland but didn't realise.
Hopper low level sensors fixed now.

Day before I needed to drill the OSR my drilling tractor gearbox went. So I substituted it for the Temis I'd just bought. In the field the drill markers wouldn't go in far enough to make a mark for the tyres not go out far enough to do bonnet centre. To add to the problems the previous owner had fitted a wider front tyre on one side to the other.

So I "judged it" and it was a bit of a mess. I didn't leave any gaps but my tramlines aren't quite right.
