Ouch! Depreciation on some of this type of kit terrifies me.
It certainly is a worry , not only is the money tight at the moment all those machines getting sold what were bought in the good years are making those years less rosy , I wonder how many pieces of kit were bought for tax purposes only to be sold for capital now?

I add I am not making this presumption on the above , a good drill for someone

I can guarantee that this drill was NOT bought for tax purposes, and yes we are taking a huge hit on what we paid for it. I guess it's down to what drills are in fashion as to the demand.

I will be sorry to see the Versadrill go as you can't fault the job it does, especially with seed placement, and sealing the slot afterwards.

We are selling the drill as we have now purchased a Simtech T-sem. I'm not sure if it's the right move, only time will tell! Steep clay banks and late drilling has moved us back to a tine drill.

I admire you guys that try things new and buy drills that are in "fashion" but can't see us moving from our ph combi.

Vastly underrated drills in my opinion. Establishment is fantastic. This rape as put in blocking off 1/2 the counters and putting a row down each side of the subsoiler leg running 7 inches deep. Very consistent emergence compared with a terra cast crop off the back of a stubble cultivator in the next field, same day, same variety , same rate

Is it seed and fert or just seed?
Have got any other crop pictures showing crops sown behind the drill? wheat and barley.
What tractor did you pull it with?

Brilliant drill and I can see where longpod is coming from, we are constantly looking for the best, cheapest and quickest establishment. Plough powerharrow is so simple and hides problem but does not suit all soil alnd types. £18k is a bargain for that drill!
