Driveway for cabin

We're about to take delivery of our tiny house, basically a 23x8' log cabin on wheels. I'm just in the process of preparing the site, but I'm confused as to what sub base we need? Any recommendations?
Tiny house is 3.5t and we will be parking 2 cars at the side. Site is currently a grass field, I'm thinking of scraping 150mm off and putting stone down. We are only a few miles from several limestone quarries so supply isn't an issue, just what to order :scratchhead:

I know when utilities put 600m of trackway in here they didn’t get planning, possibly because it went on terram?

I know it was planned to be removed but I decided to keep it.

Does it matter if the track is permeable George?
The material doesn't make a difference when planning is involved. It is all down to the use.
Tracks on agricultural land for agricultural use tend to be permitted development although prior notification should be sought from the Local Authority.
In the OP's case it is not agricultural so would need planning.

Utilities probably have permitted development rights associated with their workings which meant they didn't need permission but I would imagine they should have removed it and made good the area. Utilities is a long way down the GPDO, into the depths I don't tend to go near bit if I have 5mins I'll take a look

We had the same here and was to be removed but when Welsh Water decided to keep it there for their trucks then full planning application submitted and gained, then legal Easements made to show their use/access.
