drone worries livestock

We have had one flying around and it is becoming a real pain the a***. It frightened a horse and the rider fell off. It also followed a person walking a dog and the dog ran off.

Can we shoot it down legally if it is frightening livestock and causing danger?

Maybe I missed it at start of thread, but what is the actual law? Friend that flies his at ours cant film weddings with it at certain places as they don't give permission or im sure he said that the neighbours with land or houses don't grant permission? Or is this simply the wedding venues not wanting to upset neighbours? Hadnt thought of them being used to check out farms for theft purposes, a bit of an extravagance for my place as they an simply stroll through with the ridiculous amount of footpaths or bridleways, saves them the expense of using a drone!!

seen LOW flying planes go over my livestock at great speed and they never even twitch, so would not be too worried of someone flying a drone
We get low flying military helicopters flying below us through the valley and just above us and cows don't blink a eyelid to them , but a hot air balloon will cause them all sorts of problems.

Bunch of A10's in training and using the milking parlour as a practice target used to make milking interesting, never see them at all now in the area.

it sounds like a giant insect, thats why they don't like it, low flying jets etc don't bother them, giant insects buzzing around do. Loads of them up here most of the caravan site guests have them , some animals get spooked some don't

The law doesn't really care about the welfare of livestock or people wouldn't be allowed to get away with the horrific things they do. If it was worrying my stock I'd shoot it. End of.
