Drones - dji/dronedeploy/ndvi etc

Maybe a daft question, but I am ignorant about drones so shall ask anyway... what sort of poor conditions can they fly in? I'm guessing drizzle or a light shower aren't a problem, but what about more / different precipitation and winds? My experience in other fields is that 'guidelines' generally under or over play a product's capability. Thanks in advance.

Strong winds means they don’t often return too well!

They can fly in the rain but pictures are compromised.

Lightening could be expensive!

I took the Mavic Pro up in strong winds and it did ok but the battery drained quicker. Haven't been brave enough to fly in the rain.

I've been up in a pretty stiff breeze. Would prefer where I want to fly to he into the wind so I can have the wind at my back on the homeward leg.
So I'm not fighting the wind on a low battery

Rain as far as I'm aware is an absolute no no. Rain of any kind. I avoid it like the plague.

I can usually get the cows moving in for milking from the house. If they are far away I usually sit by a window in the general direction. House is on a hill which helps

Battery’s will need to improve tho now Youve got me looking at them there’s some that will travel 7km!! But the battery’s only last 25 minutes

There is one that keeps flying over my house that will get the wrong end of a 12bore if I get the chance !

Is it wrong to wish one to fly over to do just that lol? I have a need to take one of them out haha
