@eulb There is 4 troughs linked via the 63mm pipe and 1 header tank feeding them in the corner off the shed. The troughs are all tip over.
Just started 2nd winter and they are are performing better this year, crap silage last year and head rails needed tweaked to keep cows & beds cleaner
They must have a fancy joint where they swivel?
The plastic elbow has a male part with 2 o-rings on it which pushes into a female socket on the trough which is the pivot.
So far trough specific as havn't found an other supplier of the plastic bend. De Boer supplied them.
Could you not just get a length of 2" rigid plastic pipe and get the grooves done on a lathe then just use a normal philmac fitting for the bend,
How well do those troughs stand up with cows rubbing/oarching them, and young stock licking and fiddling with things? Not exactly, we have the pipe and bends just the same as yours but we just have a philmac fitting onto the plastic pipe so im fairly confident you could just have the straight pipe and a philmac bend.

We only have them for the dairy cows, we've had 10 of them in for about 18 month now and no problems so far
Was just wondering how they'd fair with sucklers I thought the pipe looked a weakness(possibly). They do look good tho we've got various sized concrete ones but do get dirty with straw and poo! Saw one of the fat bullocks with both it's front feet in the trough today. No problem. There is nothing for them to damage. No ballcocks or service boxes. The pipe is the only thing but it is rigid.
