Drought 2023!

Daffodil leaves already brown, clouds of dust off destoners working in the area, ditches all dried up, signs of drought appearing everywhere here. Incessant wind for the last 2 weeks has been the problem here.

Wtf it's only just drying up!FFS
Walked some of our silage ground this morning and the ground is still too soft, unless I want to be digging out wagons, probably do 2/3rds of first cut this week and see what happens with the wet ground by then, worst case it will be hay, so I have enough feed for the drought 🙈🤣.

I agree but enough moisture for a month . Always leave something not cut for cows even it's not the best quality .Toll it regrows
I have, I left 2 weeks worth, any rain in the last 10 days or next 10 days would have left everything rosey.
But it’s swung dramatically from ridiculously wet to ridiculously dry.
I would love weather like this in July and August, but I bet it will be sh!t!
