Dunlop Snugboot

My Grubs insulated wellies are leaking, after only a year.

I see Dunlop's new boots are out, meant to be really light and comfortable.

Has anyone got a pair yet?

Just £140 is a lot to spend on unknown boots...

Dunlop porousfoot are rubbish the heels split after a few months.
pair that just given up now must be about 4 years old , but it the yellow ones which are worn off shore and the boats , don't know if they are different rubber , they are cheaper to buy also , the bright rubber soon fades with use

I tried lots of different winter wellies a year ago, didn't like most of them. Eventually settled on some Good Years which were quite a bit less than £100. Neoprene with rubber outer, warm but but grippy sole, unlike Muckboot iceskates. Only thing I didn't like about them was the adjustable strap wich I cut off so is no longer a problem.

Well I bought myself a pair.

Worn them for nearly 3 weeks now.

They are excellent, they feel really narrow at first but they're not uncomfortable, don't slop around and are really warm.
Very light too.
I can spend 14 hours in them continuously without getting aching or sweaty feet.

I'd recommend them.

Bought some Goodyear recently, don't put them through what others do but fit well, snug (never need an extra pair of socks, even for warmth) and still look very rugged
