Had an oil change and a greasing a few days previously too. Plus a wash after feeding that morning. All shiny it was.

Thank you. Went to doc this pm and the nurse poked around in the wound. If I was a cow I'd have 20mls of Penstrep but doc insists on a few sweeties with water four times a day.Get well soon then
I hope Douglas Bros are on-call over the Bank Holiday.

I hope you realise that this is just a contingency plan. Personally, I have high hopes of surviving. Blood tests back and Doc says that he had seldom seen such fine results, with kidneys, prostate, sugars and cholesterol almost good enough to photograph and hang up on his wall in a frame.Only 2 trucks out on Mon tho, but your local so she says they prob could be with you
So don't book the knackers lorry until confirmed. Thanks for the thought though.

Best to get checked out, our ex tanker driver went for Hgv medical, and was sent straight to Swansea for new valves and to fix an aneurysm. Very lucky man!!!

Douglas Bros used to come all the way up here for cows when they were being collected FOC to test for BSE. Chap from Llangurig used to come with a 7.5 tonner which they'd put 10 tonner springs on... Remember once having to get neighbour to come and load a cow over the top of the body with the Merlo because there was no room left to winch on.
