Number 2 comes on and number 1 flashes 4 slow then 4 fast
Loses drove but only after you have stopped
Any ideas please
Have already tried changing range solenoids

both range switches are damp with oil.
Testing ok though in situ.
Temperature has something to do with it, ok now its cooled off
Had massey fitter out last week, and laptop said it was something to do with signal between range switch and solenoid.
He said more likely to be solenoids so changed both range solenoids.
Will change switches in the morning.
don`t want to go down the " lets change this and see if it works route"
Been there and done that before, it can get expensive

Seen someone describe this as 'Parts Darts'

i would change the 2 damp switches and get the tractor heated up to see if it cures it.
If its still stopping use one of the solenoids you replaced and swap the range 3 solenoid (rear one on top row)

Ok
Have changed all range solenoids
All range switches
Forward and reverse and gear solenoids all meter good

Any other ideas please
The tractor has now stopped working altogether, which is probably a good thing

What about engine speed sensor, could that cause the problem, is there anyway to test it?

Hmm, I guess you've nearly covered all the bases. I was originally thinking it was a range switch issue, but you say you've changed them all. I have had this fault before, where the tractor would drive when cold but once warm the oil did something to the range switches (shorting them IIRC), thus giving the impression more than one gear is selected at once. You can see this via the laptop if you have access to one...

Maybe worth a trip to the dealer or a good local independent with a computer as this will help show what the ECU is actually seeing and why drive is being prevented. You have checked the relevant fuses?

Update:

Just had a quick look at the first error code (44) - this relates to one of the powershift brake solenoids (TR27) - Current draw higher than expected by at least 40mA - Check solenoid resistance is around 10 Ohms - Also check fuses F2 and F6

I'd be checking the fuses and if one has blown, the fault possibly lies with a dodgy solenoid valve?

The solenoid TR27 is on the block near the bell housing along with the Fwd/Rev valves. The valve you want is vertically mounted on top of the block and is nearest the transmission housing. You'll see what I mean... It wont harm to check both of them.

Update on this
Had local Claas fitter out to it ( same gearbox pretty much as an Arion 400 )
After a couple of hours of swapping things around, no further forward.
Coming back tomorrow with a box of tricks, that can be plugged in and operate the range and gear changes from the side of the tractor without engine running so he can here whats going on
He seems to think that a circlip has come off the end of something inside the gearbox and although a shaft is moving, something connected isn`t

After probably spending @ £1000 on parts and labour
Turned out the problem was one of the range switches had, had a copper washer put on it instead of a dowty washer, which is slightly thicker
Because the switch had started to deteriorate it wasn`t making a circuit all of the time
I replaced the switch and put the washer back on assuming it was as it should be, but must have nipped it up a bit tighter because it still didn`t make a circuit.
Rickerby`s fitter finally realised what the problem was after using a fancy box of tricks that worked the transmission with the engine running. That way he could determine that everything was operating as it should, but it was still thinking that range 2 was engaged even though he knew it wasn`t, and although the switch tested ok when on the bench ( which it would because it was new )
So assume after the trouble we had last year someone at the Massey dealers must have lost the dowty washer that was on there and replaced it with a copper

Chris sort it out?

Hi Lads.
I’m getting error T124 on my 6475, it happens when hot in 4th gear. When tractor cools and I plug in and out the 4 sensors it seems fine but how do I know if it’s a sensor or a solenoid.
Also where are the solenoids located. could I sw round the 4th range switch and solenoid ? Is this a difficult job ?
