Ah but the reputable publications have a large disclaimer saying there are some dodgy advertisers and buyer beware:sneaky:
AH, i wondered who they were aiming that at.
No.
It wasn’t aimed at them.
The disclaimer is there for the proper fraudulent advertisers. Those that offer a £20k tractor for £8k and promise free delivery once you’ve (foolishly) paid upfront.

In this case the companies mentioned above are innocent. You can advertise what the hell you like. It’s only fraud if once a deal has been done and they don’t deliver what has been promised.

Let's not kid ourselves.

After two run ins with trading standards, the fact that certain publications continue to publish advertisements for them tells me one thing.

The publishers put advertising revenue way ahead of any real support or concern for the farmers they claim to serve,

Yes and FW should do the right thing and drop them

Thats ok then, but i have never seen tractors or machinery advertised in the fw, that seemed to good to be true, ebay yes.

Nothing to do with the tractor dealers but I am also surprised at how many directors of failed companies that are wound up leaving considerable unpaid debts seem to start up again as directors not very long afterwards. It doesn't leave a very good taste for those who are still owed money with seemingly no chance of it being repaid, but while they keep on getting away with it, it will keep happening.

Are we so short of company directors and business's that people who have let others in for thousands have to be allowed to assume positions of responsibility again?

In my view if you have let people in for thousands once, you have done it once too often and should be barred from running a limited company again. Doesn't seem to work like that though.
This view surprised me, that it is a popular one surprised me even more.

Private enterprise depends upon just that - enterprise. Not everyone succeeds at the first time of trying, so barring entrepreneurs from business if they or their company fails is a regressive step.

Maybe so but it's the pillocks that shed their debts then set up again as if nothing has happened. I believe there could be an outfit up here dealing in speciality beef doing just that dropping others in it that can ill afford it.

As for the subjects of this thread, if you think they are going to act any different then you plainly believe in the tooth fairy as well. That lot can't lie straight in bed

But its the people who go bust, then start up again the next day doing the same thing with no debt. They dont deserve to succeed

If every single member of this forum text 10 of their farming friends to stay clear of this cowboy outfit then the UK would pretty much stop trading with them over night. Then they’d go bust. Just do it.

I don’t get it.... other than on here you don’t here bad press about them. Most on here is only hear say.... how many of those commenting on this have actually bought or dealt with them? Someone must as advertising week in and week out isn’t cheap. They have found a market for old gear in Africa.... perhaps I’m wrong and always try to see the best in people rather than follow the “cool” crowd and say how I’ve heard this and that....

After you've shoo-ed them out of the bottom end of the yard when they were 'just looking' you wouldn't be asking why they get bad press.
