Hello!
I thought that with the prospect of an unsettled Easter ahead, you might appreciate an early weekend forecast so that you can plan ahead. The forecast for Holiday Monday is included too.
It looks cold through the weekend. Rain becomes a major feature early next week and the combination of rain, snow and wind could cause added problems for lambing.

Low pressure close to east Anglia on Saturday has an occluded front wrapped around it. This is going to be bringing lots of cloud and periods of rain to much of England and eastern Wales.
Most of the rain is expected to be light and will tend to ease in more western areas into the afternoon, retreating slowly into East Anglia, although remaining cold for many. Rather windy for England and Wales too.
Probably fairly cloudy in eastern and southern Scotland as well as eastern Ireland, although the west is likely to be brighter with more broken cloud, similar in western Scotland. Some showers affecting hills in the east, but drier for most with a few bright spells, especially in the afternoon.
Winds NW-NE 20-30kt (F6-F7) in much of England, mainly ENE 17-20kt (F5) in Scotland and Ireland.
EASTER SUNDAY

A ridge of high pressure builds southwards through the UK and eastern Ireland on Sunday ahead of a warm front moving into southern Ireland and southwest England in the afternoon.
There may be some morning mist and fog patches at first, especially in Scotland and northern England, but these clearing.
Cloud is then likely to be broken with some sunny spells for many on Sunday.
Cloud does increase to the southwest as the warm front approaches, pushing north and bringing rain into southern Ireland and southwest England by mid to late afternoon.
This rain then edges north into the evening and the winds increase in more southern parts as well.
Winds E-NE 10-15kt (F3-F4), increasing E-ESE 20-25kt (F5-F6) in southern England and southern Ireland, becoming 25-30kt (F6-F7) later.
HOLIDAY MONDAY

The warm front tracks north through Easter Monday. Much cloud and rain as well as strong winds across Ireland, Wales and southern England, some heavy at times, especially over southern facing hills and coasts. Th rain turning to snow over the hills, but perhaps even to lower levesl for some time in Ireland, north Wales and northern England.
Drier in more northern parts of England (until the afternoon) and most of Scotland. Some thicker cloud may affect eastern Scotland bringing some patchy rain here.
Winds ESE (20-30kt F6-F7) in southern areas, E 15-20kt (F5) in Scotland.
