Happy Easter to each and every one of you at this difficult time.

If there was ever a period of time for Agriculture to unite and show the public the acts of support and kindness we offer to our community then this is one of them. We don't need to blow our own trumpets, just balance the scales a bit. .

People are at home now with their TV's on and we the Agri industry should be promoting our produce with strong marketing campaigns showing them that we produce the best food in the World and that we take great pride in what we do.

Saying THANK YOU for their support as well is a key message.

Sorry...posted too soon!

.........Minette did an exceptionally good job when on Question Time a few weeks ago, and seems to have just the right manner in communicating with people.
Adam Henson for all his possible faults is perceived as the friendly face of farming for millions of Countryfile viewers, and is thus well placed to relay any messages of thanks or goodwill from our industry.

So I might suggest that the NFU now have plenty of chances and opportunity to boost the image of UK agriculture by a instigating a nationathanking the public for their support and subtlety promoting the value to the country of what we are doing to keep them fed etc etc.
