Anyone tried one of these? only £100 without VAT, only wanting it to repair poached pasture and spread a bit of clover seed

Cheap and cheerful but works well. Spread a lot of turnip seed with it , makes a nice even job. Grass seed a bit harder to calibrate, but with trial an error you can get it on quite even. Quad bikes Wales worth a try for price.

I've spread turnips and slug pellets with one, works well enough.
But I've found it not so good to spread grass seed with, either the seed bridges and won't run through or open it up more so seed will run and it's all gone before you've reached end of the field.
It's cheap and does a job
