Yes more surprised every week by this variety. To be honest it did not look very good since planting as its was put in after potatoes in early october and has sort of just dragged itself along. However the last 10 days especially its really taken off. I thought it was matching Solstice but its now surpassed that by a big margin - seem my Edgar vs Solstice thread.
That I dont know without investigating but in the field I did not notice a difference, but then again was not really looking for that. Both types drilled at 400 seeds/m2 in early October. Rate was around 180kg/ha.
looks good warksfarmer, think I might be tempted to try a small field, it looks pretty solid in the blurb regarding agronomy - you haven't found it particularly expensive on inputs ?
