EFA hedge measurements appearing on Organic form.

Just started BPS to find all our fields are pre-populated with EFA hedge measurements, which as organic farmers we do not need to register.
Is there any easy way to remove them from the on-line application form?
Or do I need to go through each line to remove or do I just leave them in?

TIA

Choose the Activate Less EFA option and work your way through them, though it seems pointless if you don't have an EFA requirement. Are you worried it will slow your payment down?

There are some oddities that's for sure! For the hedge measurements to be pre-populated would they not have had to have been maually entered previously? Mine pre-populated a few but certainly not all of those listed on the land pages, I think its just the ones I have previously entered manually? On the land pages it lists various hedges and lengths but we seem to have lost the tool that identified which hedges are which on the map?

I have one small parcel where the land use has randomly changed since my 2019 application from ineligible scrub to eligible perm pasture??

Dont forget to Activate less EFA's for fallow land and legumes crops unless you want to follow the EFA rules... if you are growing Beans you most certainly do not want them under EFA rules as you cant then spray them!

Also beware the EFA eligibility checker is not to be trusted.... after I got carried away deactivating EFAs.... I could easily have missed that error!

We made a call to RPA who were helpful!
Issues we had on "land" we were able to rectify at application stage.
we had issues with split field area with ineligible parts all coming up as applied for but these also disappeared at application.
We ended up with a load of "red hand stop" symbols which were concerning us but these all disappeared eventually without us doing anything.
EFA options also cleared themselves when we filled final form, it would have been so much easier if we had known from the start.
In the end it only took two hours of concentrated work but all we actually had to do was change the land use on 4 fields!
