I have just done my bps 2020 and found half my hedges are not eligable for efa. How do I change them? They are just normal hedges

You mean the aren’t showing up on the system?
I think you need to do RLE1 form or such to log them.
It’s a mess of a system - ordnance survey were supposed to have mapped them all but clearly didn’t. Less than 10% of mine are shown.

You need to do a RLE1. Probably several in fact! I believe that the deadline for 2020 BPS was 15th May for RLE1 form submission. Nothing to stop you doing a RLE1 for next year but I recommend you leave it for at least 8 weeks so you don't risk slowing your 2020 payment down.

The hedges are all mapped correctly ,mainly,.
In the box for eligability for some fields.it states the length but has N. other fields are Y and counted for EFA.
They have all been there for a couple of hundred years though and the fields are all mine with no neighbours. I cant make sense of it.

Can you get away with using buffer strips alongside your hedges. Only need to be 1m wide, as long as the hedge doesn't overhang them. Can be the same as a cross compliance strip.
