The EFRA committee held their enquiry in to beef prices yesterday with Chris Mallon, Chief Executive Officer, National Beef Association, Nick Allen, Chief Executive Officer, British Meat Processors Association, Tom Kirwin, Managing Director, ABP UK and Stuart Roberts, NFU Vice President being the witnesses. If you have a couple of hours to spare you can watch it here https://www.parliamentlive.tv/Event/Index/022950d2-f6fd-4995-b128-b5619b226f98

I found it very interesting and would like to congratulate Stuart Roberts for an excellent performance. As for Nick Allen, now at BMPA, formerly at AHDB i will let you draw your own conclusions .................

Don't have two hours to spare to watch it but I will say its an utter disgrace that the AHDB have done nothing to counter the endless stream of negativity aimed at the beef/sheep sectors in the media the last few weeks.

Quite clear the AHDB beef and lamb board are not fit for purpose and the whole lot of them should resign!
