So some farmer has ploughed a small field on his Lake District farm and whole hell has let loose. You would have think he had dredged a lake the way the Eco Warriors have been carrying on. They are all for having him lynched and demanding the National Trust and he should be fined and thrown in jail.
Ive tried to find out what this EIA thing is and as far as I can see you only need to apply if the area you are working on is over 2ha and in a scheme. But I may have read it wrong as it’s a bit confusing, but my main issue is it seems it’s only the environmentalists that know that it exists or do the collective prove me wrong

The EIA rules have been quite widely discussed in circles I move in for some years.
