Thinking of a weighcrate with built in cables for an Antenna. running a Tru Test EW7i head, the obvious choice is to buy an Agrident ASR550 tag reader to transfer the tag number to the Tru Test weigh head to follow DLWG.

I have multiple handling systems so wouldn’t always have the weighcrate with me and ideally a stick reader to be able to Read tags pre movement would be ideal.

Would a Tru Test XRS2 be a better option than the Agrident ASR550 for the purposes I mention? I take it a stick reader cable tied to the side of the crate would be best and then Bluetooth the weight to the weigh head?

After some ideas/alternative options.

Ive got a little crook made of threaded rod that clamps om the top of the crate( ritchie draft pro) and the stick reader hangs from that with a bungy cord pull down scan tag and let it back. We have a true test xrs stick reader for weighing and the same weigh head as yourself works great and quick.
