Looking for recommendations for a electric fence energiser . 12volt and possibly solar powered. Will have to be big enough to power a 10 km total length (5strands x 2km )wire fence . TIA.

Rutland ESB325 (3.2J) or a ESB377 (6 joule) would be the 2 I’d look at first but I’m sure a Speedrite 6000 is big too?

Rutland units seem to be much longer lasting.

In my experience, the Speedrite boxes don't seem to be as well made and dont last .. although they are cheaper!

Get a good local stalker to start knocking a few of the deer back. They learn pretty quickly and soon avoid the area..

That speedrite looks the same as the Pel406 from kiwikit (but cheaper).
When you say box not made as well, are you just talking about the plastics, rather than the quality of the workings?

Will you help clear snow?
