Electric Fencing

Our landlord has put an electric fence up, which is not an issue. Although, this is where I would like some advice please?
The fence it has been attached too is the fence between our garden and the landlords field. So still only one fence between the field and our garden. Firstly, there are no warning signs on it. But secondly are they allowed to do this? I thought that there should be a fence and then another for the electric fence.
I'm now unable to let my children out due to worry of them touching the fence. The landlord is far from approachable and will make it my fault even if they are in the wrong.
Can someone point t me to some evidence of how this should be please?

I mean they dont touch ours which is in our field used for syrup grazing for the sheep that are orange, but just didnt seem right they'd attached it to it albeit without signage. But that's fine.

Thanks all!

Why would you need a fence to fence off an electric fence?
Your garden fence will be insulated from the electric fence so shouldn't be any worry about kids playing if your fence is secure. It'll probably be a good education for them not to touch other people's property.
Signage would be required every 50m if the electric fence was along side a footpath which I presume it's not as you've not mentioned a footpath.
