Not even sure what to call this but this is what I’m looking for. I’m looking for a sensor that when the grain gets up to a hight that it touches the sensor it then stops the oil flow which stops the rotary calculator on my bruiser. I know you can get them as wakley fit them to there mills. I want to fit one to my bruisers. (Which are not wallets) I also don’t want to buy a wakley. But I’d someone had a link or an idea what they are called to google or eBay it. Would be much appreciated
Thanks

i suppose first it might be no harm to find out what wakley fit to theirs, and what would be the cost of it as a kit to fit it to your machine, just so you'd know where you stand first.

is it a sensor or a mechanical type i wonder, the likes of an eye would work in certain applications but im guessing dust is going to be a problem and that may cover the sensor eye resulting in a false reading or it not working at all.

if it was mechanical then you'd want some form of a flap that would be pressed when the grain would reach a level but that would need some thought as if material got in behind it it would jamb it and stop it from working.

if its an electric item your using then you need to convert that signal to something that can work a hydraulic valve to stop and start the unit and its doubtful if its going to be able to cope with the Amp's so there would be a relay at the minimum in the scheme as well.

that's just off the top of my head as i never stood beside one to take into account as to what exactly is going on.
its possible the wakely version is quite simple and im overthinking the whole thing.

I'm thinking a couple of proximity sensors, two automotive style relays (you may need to build a transistor circuit to handle the current the relays draw??) and then a 3rd-service type solenoid operated hydraulic valve, to dump pressure when the level falls outside the range .
