2wd and weighs...? Muddy field?
No matter how cheap it looks if stuck.
I sincerely hope they can get the weight down and 4wd into them.
Suspect it will be buggies first.

Not sure what you mean? 🤔

This is 4wd and 245kg, which makes it 50kg lighter than my Suzuki 400. Bumpf states lead acid batteries as a power source. Should be cheaper and easier to replace than lithium.

And a respectable top speed of 50kph. Sounds about perfect for me fencing.

Can’t believe I’m saying it but for my job, it sounds too good to be true... battery life of 40-50km, I probably do 2-3km of electric fencing a day.. cheaper than a Petrol model... just wonder what the life span would be 😬

I'm going to call the firm in the new year and try to get a demo. Would align nicely with the laird's environmental ethos, as well as saving me lots of petrol money.

Another step on the road to carbon negative beef! @delilah don't come for me.

Let me know how you get on, I fear the lifespan might be shocking... I’d imagine they’ll give big warranties but that don’t help no1 if you spend half your life waiting for your quad too get fixed 🤦‍♂️

Sorry missed that was thinking of one that was around about 5 years ago.
Funnily enough it was lead acid too and 60 km range at 15C but it weighed 500kg!
Maybe motor management is better these days.
Interested to hear how you get on with demo.
