I managed to get 7.2p/kWh before christmas, but I think the markets have dropped a little since then.

It does depend on the DNO though. ENWL and Western Power have always seemed higher by 0.5p/kWh compared to Northern Power grid for example.

I concur that limejump worth talking to, but their quotes are not the most transparent. I'm fixed at somewhere between 7.2 and 7.5 but even with their fixed deal, some elements are not.

I'm fairly sure it's a good price, but it's odd that I can't say that 100%

Does the DNO buy power from you?

It isn't, I gets quotes for all of our turbines across the country, so with several different DNOs, on any given day you will get a different price depending on the DNO. Same DNO same price, different DNO different price.

As said, usually buried, but ask for a limejump quote which breaks it all down. There are at least half a dozen elements after the wholesale price. Even a line item of 'fixed costs' has a portion of xxUoS.

Yes embedded benefits balancing charges etc. But dc21 is referring to a charge of £5 mwh difference between Dno’s.
