Electric's not working

I have a 1983 JCB backhoe with no electrics inside or out, would there be main relays behind the dash

There's none in mine.It's 82 so being a white cab,will be the same as yours. The fuse boxes are prone to corrosion,especially with using those crap bullet type fuses.Check your power sources from the starter solenoid and check that that there is a good earth between the cab and engine and chassis.
