Engine oil

I have and IH 3434 1974 and am wondering what would be best engine oil to use please, don't want to use something that may be to thin and end up with leaks.

Well i use MVF 15/40 in my little 1979 Inter.

but i'm sure the oil experts will be along shortly.

Cheers, was reading on a forum but people were saying about using that many different oils just got confusing

It will be specced as needing SAE 30.

15W40 will be just fine.
